The Vintage Italian Ex-voto, Woman Figure adds eclectic charm to any home. Old Italian Ex-votos, also called Milagros in Spanish, are religious offerings, a gesture of gratitude, for the fulfillment of a vow. These Italian ex-votos are very rare, and now difficult to find. Ours come from Southern Italy, near Naples. Most were collected in the 1990's, but they can be as much as 100 years old. Almost all are silver plate over brass. Patina and finish will vary significantly with age and length of use in the churches. These are beautiful collectors items, very rarely seen these days. Size and finish may vary.
